Here at Passpawt, we are always looking at new products that we think you’ll be interested in, and we always like to try them out on our own pets first, just to make sure they are up to scratch!

A few weeks ago, we had a lovely e-mail from Francesca at Buddys Bakery, telling us that she had recently set up her own artisan pet treat bakery, after struggling to find dog treats for her own dog. Francesca has a lot of experience in the canine world, as she is a qualified dog groomer, so gets to meet lots of dog owners. She realised pretty quickly that it was not just her who found it difficult to find high quality, safe dog treats!

The idea for Buddys Bakery was born!

Buddys Bakery is based in Wells, the smallest city in England, on the southern edge of the rolling Mendip Hills in Somerset. Francesca set up Buddys Bakery as she wanted to create healthy treats for her own dog Buddy. His face is sat proudly in the middle of the Buddys Bakery logo!

When she started looking into the ingredients of shop bought treats, she quickly realised how much nasty artificial preservatives, colourings and other undesirable things were in them. This sparked her to take the plunge for a new challenge and combine her love for dogs with baking to create Buddys Bakery!

Buddys Bakery is fully registered and insured and all of their treats are tested by a DEFRA approved laboratory, ensuring they are 100% safe for dogs.

For Easter, Francesca has produced some amazing Easter Hampers for dogs. What a great idea!

And, Buddy also produces a really handy taster pack, which is pawfect for finding out which treat your pooch loves best.

Francesca would really like Passpawt’s visitors to try her artisan dog treats because she knows that they are handmade and full of good things for your dog, and as an added bonus, she’s giving all Passpawt visitors 20% off. All you have to do is go to her on-line shop and enter the discount code “Buddy20”. You can find the Buddys Bakery shop here:
